A new year, a new blog and new goals

Today is January 3rd and I have successfully met my goals for 2009. WOOHOO! No more worries for the rest of the year! What? Wait a minute! What do you mean that I haven't REALLY met my goals? I have met them, honest. Keep reading and you will see what I mean.

GOALS - 2009

1. Enjoy the holidays and start 2009 with a plan of action for my insanely extensive needlepoint stash - CHECK!

2. Create a new blog so I can track my stitching activity- CHECK!

3. Start stitching - CHECK!

See! I have met my goals. The details of how we got here and why I am in such a state just haven't been disclosed yet. As I mentioned in my first goal, I have an insanely extensive needlepoint stash. I love to needlepoint and I love to find new projects. Unfortunately, I can't stitch as fast as I can accumulate - thus the problem. My stitching buddy MJ and I were talking about this back in the Fall over chai tea and decided that we would actually do something about that. See, she has the same problem - lots of stash. That's how SFS 2009 was born. SFS stands for STITCHING FROM STASH. We are very serious about this - we have a contract!
